1. Who we are

Hey Little Brain (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website and sells digital printable activity kits for children. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email support@heylittlebrain.com.

2. What we collect

  • Order data: name, email, billing address, items purchased. Processed by our checkout provider (Shopify).
  • Payment data: handled directly by Shopify / Stripe / PayPal. We never see or store your card number.
  • Email signups: email address only, when you opt in to our newsletter.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed — used for security and (with consent) analytics.
  • Support: any message you send us, kept only as long as needed to help you.

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

  • Contract: to process your order and deliver the product.
  • Consent: for analytics, marketing cookies and the newsletter.
  • Legitimate interest: to keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
  • Legal obligation: to keep invoices for tax purposes.

4. Who we share data with

We only share data with processors that help us run the shop: Shopify (checkout), our email provider, our analytics provider (only with consent), and ad platforms like Meta and Google (only with consent). We do not sell your data.

5. International transfers

Some processors are based outside the EU/UK (e.g. in the US). Where that happens, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

Order data: as long as required by tax law (typically 7–10 years). Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Support emails: up to 24 months.

Under GDPR / UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Email us at support@heylittlebrain.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
